Speech & swallowing therapy is more than a medical service.

It’s a path to a better life. Here’s what that looks like at SpeechRx….

the founder of SpeechRx. I’m a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and your personal speech and swallowing advocate!

I have been treating adults with neurologic impairments and swallowing disorders for over 20 years, and if there’s anything I wholeheartedly understand, it’s this:

You are more than your diagnosis.

Hi! I’m Kristin…

You are a person with a community of loved ones and a unique set of interests, hobbies, and goals. At SpeechRx, we’re more than clinicians - we’re your neighbors. My team and I are passionate about improving your ability to speak, laugh, and eat your favorite foods again.

I have specialized training in treating adults who have head and neck cancer and voice problems.  I’m also the daughter of a mother with Alzheimer’s disease. My role as her caregiver has given me the kind of insight that can’t be taught in a university.  When I’m not providing speech and swallowing therapy, you can find me relaxing on the beach, exercising, watching college football and basketball (Go Gators!), and spending time with my husband and two boys.

Meet The Team

Hello! My name is Lindsay, and I’m a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience.  I specialize in speech, language, and cognitive disorders and am the co-coordinator of our community Stroke Support Group. Having worked in a setting accredited by the Joint Commission for Stroke Center of Excellence, my passion for and experience with serving adults with stroke and neurological impairments runs deep!

When I’m not helping others exercise their cognitive-communication skills, I can be found exercising my green thumb putting together unique succulent plant arrangements in South Florida for sale.

You are more than your diagnosis.

— Kristin Winter - Speech Rx Owner & Certified Speech Language Pathologist

Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist and a University of Central Florida graduate. I’ve had the honor of training extensively at the Aphasia House and completing my final internship at SpeechRx, which allowed me to receive specialized training in the treatment of aphasia, head and neck cancer patients, dysphagia, chronic cough, voice disorders, dysarthria, and individuals with cognitive-communication deficits.

If I had to choose one word to describe my dedication to my patients and providing effective therapy, it would be unwavering.

In my free time, I find solace in staying active through exercising and Pilates, and I enjoy exploring the world through travel.
